ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Shangri-La's Youth and Family Services aims to ignite hope and vision for children, youth and families to realize and actualize positive, healthy futures. Shangri-La's Youth & Family Services are available in Marion, Polk and Yamhill Counties. It is made possible through a partnership with the Oregon Department of Human Services.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a Bilingual Assistant to help as a translator for clients wishing to use our services. Volunteer would coordinate with management team on translating materials and serve as a mentor on-site by assisting with translation for clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years old. Must be bilingual (fluent) in Spanish/English. Requires the continuous and effective use of interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
