Love n Me is a nonprofit mentoring and empowering girls and women teaching them to love themselves. We provide counseling, support groups, mentoring, workshops, and other services. We're seeking interns to provide support and assist our programs.

The Internship Coordinator is a talented individual that is committed to educating students to become successful members in their field industry. The Coordinator serves as a liaison between Love n Me and business/organizations in the area that participate in our student internship program. In addition, the Internship Coordinator develops and maintains effective business relationships with extern work sites while incorporating professionalism, respect, integrity, and compassion in all that they do.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills. Must be customer service orientated. Ability to meet or exceed the organization’s attendance and punctuality standards. Ability to evaluate objectively, fairly, and consistently. Creativity and takes initiative. Ability to correctly use and demonstrate all normal equipment and tools within the subject field.


  • A bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Ability to interact effectively orally and in writing with a wide and culturally diverse range of students and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a busy and demanding environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be an inspiring ambassador for the Department to the University and professional communities.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a meaningful mentor and coach to students.


  • A master’s degree, or higher, in a Communications field.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with media and communications markets in Southern California.
  • Experience working in a university environment.
  • Experience coordinating university-level internships.
  • Ability to expand internship opportunities for students.
