CALLING ALL ARTISTS! Painters, sculptors, illustrators, designers, et.al.
The Arts @ Henson-Parks, Inc. is looking for artists or those who love the arts showcases their talents and crafts, while helping teach art to local youths, and those who consider themselves "youthful".
We conduct POP-UP Art Workshops one weekend day per month in various locations around New York City and surrounding boroughs. We would promote educational and informational art-based crafts, and artist's work. You would help us organize our workshops and events.
The workshops are 2-4 hours for 1 day per month, usually a Saturday. If you're an artist and want to teach a workshop - we're open to what many would consider "transitional" mediums, as well as experimenting with various mediums, cultural themes, and the uncommon. Our mission is educational + recreational.
If you are interested in helping coordinate a POP-UP workshop , we are interested in you!
Equipment and instructional tools would be provided.
