Vision Literacy Learner
In 2017 Join us in our mission: Providing innovative literacy services to adults. We depend on the generosity of our volunteers to achieve our goal of improving lives through literacy. Our success depends on you. Do you have talents or professional skills you'd like to volunteer? Our volunteers work with us in a variety of ways, including direct engagement with our students, committees that support and promote our services, event-related activities and administrative assistance. During the fast-paced interactive Volunteer Orientation you will learn about our goals to break a root cause of poverty:illiteracy. The Power of Literacy is possible for others when you invest just a few hours a week.

Vision Literacy is an award-winning nonprofit organization, dedicated to providing free, high-quality classes to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) and life skills to adults. By leveraging the unique resources of Silicon Valley, we empower adults and their families to succeed and thrive. In addition to raising their literacy skills, we encourage learners to pursue personal goals -- from engaging in their children’s education and helping with homework, to finding employment, starting a business, or becoming a citizen. We are located in Santa Clara County, California.
