Volunteer position description: The Sign Language Interpreter volunteer will collaborate with the Office of Advocacy and Justice to provide ASL interpretation at Mass. We are looking for volunteers throughout the diocese to share their talents as an ASL interpreter, preferably one per county.

Schedule requirements: Saturday or Sunday, one Mass (1 hour a week) at a Catholic Church in your area.

Commitment requirements: This position requires a diocesan background screening and a 1 year service commitment for one Mass per week.

Qualifications: ASL Sign Language Interpreter (Do not have to be certified)

Age Restrictions: This position is available for volunteers ages 18 and older.

Location: Catholic Church in your local community
