Ride 2 Recovery’s Honor Ride Orange County

Ride 2 Recovery is a nonprofit that is dedicated to saving and improving veterans’ lives through cycling-based programs. The Honor Ride is Ride 2 Recovery’s signature fundraising event and consists of one-day bike rides hosted in cities across the US. These events raise funds for Ride 2 Recovery’s local veteran rehabilitation services and raise awareness of veteran’s recovery needs.

Honor Ride Orange County is on October 29th and the Honor Ride team is looking for individuals who are interested in VOLUNTEERING to help grow this event to increase the number of veterans Ride 2 Recovery is able to serve. As a part of the local committee, you would help with the marketing and promotion for this event in the months leading up to the ride. This volunteer opportunity includes (but is not limited to) outreach to local bike clubs and bike shops, contacting local businesses, posting the ride information to online community calendars and reaching out to veteran and military organizations. The Honor Ride team is also open to new ideas you may have in promoting the Honor Ride on a local level with the goal of increasing participation and event revenue.

Please email emilyg@ride2recovery.com if you’re interested!
