Do a thorough Covid cleaning of the shelter. Directions, masks & gloves, effective disinfectants supplied.

Covid Precautions:
With Covid variants causing concerns, we will be following the same safety procedures as last year. A complete plan has been developed to keep our guests and
volunteers safe. This detailed plan is outlined in the Volunteer Handbook which volunteers receive right after registering to be a volunteer. The plan includes screening of guests & volunteers before entering the shelter. Anyone with symptoms or failing the Covid questions will not be admitted. Contact between
guests and volunteers will be held to a minimum. Guests enter the shelter one at a time for check in. Partitions & sneeze guards will be in place to prevent guest/volunteer contact. Mask wearing requirement still to be determined. The Kitchen/food serving area of the Dining Hall will be partitioned off; volunteers on
one side, guests on the other. Food will be passed through the partition. Other than picking up food & using the bathroom, guests spend all their time at the shelter in their dorm station. They must maintain social distance any time outside their dorm station. Dorm stations are separated by partitions, with a bed, TV
stand, and folding chair.
