ORGANIZATION: Family Eldercare

Gary has an intellectual deficit and is in our Guardianship program. He would benefit greatly from having a volunteer who could offer him companionship and socialization.

Gary loves people and he loves movies. He's a BIG fan of the Scream movies. Gary is very personable and friendly. He would love to be out and about enjoying his time with a regular visitor.

Gary is 57 and lives in South Austin.

Description

Family Eldercare is a nonprofit agency that has been providing services to older adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers in the Austin, Texas area since 1982. Programs and services include: housing and stability, in-home counseling, guardianship, virtual activities for isolated older adults, service coordination, and our annual summer fan drive.
