The Civic Center Branch of the Livermore Public Library is currently enlisting adult volunteers (18 years of age or older) to assist students in grades K-9 with homework in our new drop-in Homework Help Center. Volunteer Homework Coaches will meet with students on Tuesdays from 3 to 5 p.m.

This is an opportunity to make a difference in a young person's life! If you enjoy working with youth and supporting education, please consider this opportunity.

Requirements: A passion for learning, patience, and an ability to confidently guide and encourage students as they learn and develop new skills. Applicants must pass a criminal background check.

Schedule: 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays (work at least 2 Tuesdays per month)

Minimum time commitment: 2-3 hours per week

Duration of Program: September through June
