If you've ever wanted to be a librarian, this is your chance. PERC, the Parent Education Resource Center, is looking for responsible, dedicated people to staff the checkout desk for a 3-hour shift once a week. One year commitment Preferred. Duties include assisting patrons, light computer use, restocking returned items, and answering the phone. We are a lending library of toys, games, educational and parenting training materials, located in the basement of the Orem Library. We serve a wide community of patrons, including middle- and low-income families.

Mission Statement
PERC (The Parent Education Resource Center) is a free lending library of learning aids. Its purpose is to help improve parenting skills, to improve parent involvement in their childrens' education, and to support families in this process. All items for check out are geared toward teaching children, or the adults working with them, in a wide range of subject areas.
