Keep the meals rolling and volunteer with Beloit Meals On Wheels! We are a non-profit agency dedicated to improving the lives seniors by helping them age safely with dignity and independence. Our volunteers deliver hot meals along with friendly visits and safety checks to homebound seniors in the greater Beloit area 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays - and we need your help!
As important as the meal delivered is, the fact is that for many seniors, the volunteer who delivers the meal is the only person they will see that day. The delivery isn’t just about nutrition; it’s about the moments of human connection that nourish the senior and the volunteer alike.
There is a vital need for volunteers for Saturday and Sunday meal delivery and throughout the year, especially people who can drive during inclement weather that have 4-wheel drive vehicles, or can be a substitute when needed.

Description
Since 1971, Beloit Meals On Wheels has provided daily nutritious meals and information to promote dignity and independence for homebound elderly, ill and disabled. We are the only provider in the area that delivers meals 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays. We are able to continue the mission of our organization thanks to our dedicated volunteers, over 600 strong, who deliver once a month, once a week or more often - and they are the heart and soul of our organization. Our volunteers donate their time, gas and vehicles, this program continues its modest management expenses with only 1 full-time employee and three part-time employees. But we deliver more than a meal - our volunteers often serve as the only human contact many of our clients receive each day - bringing a friendly greeting, as well as providing a safety check along with nutritious meals.
