About

Like history? Like to talk with people from other places? Have we got just the volunteer opportunity for you! Join our volunteer community as the cheerful, hospitable face of 1800's Oregon as an Old Aurora Colony Museum Tour Guide. After training, you will be guiding visitors from all over the United States and even other countries through our museum exhibits and historic buildings. Tours scheduled around your schedule! Pre-arranged tour groups of 10+ visitors -- usually mid-week between 11 am and 2 pm. You will learn to answer questions like "Who is the Pickled Pioneer?" or "Where is Emma's House?" Take a break from real life -- return to a simpler, colonial lifestyle for a few hours each week as a Tour Guide at the Old Aurora Colony Museum! Contact me now! -- Beth, Volunteer Coordinator
