Relay For Life of Issaquah is a signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Composed of volunteers, the Event Leadership Team works on recruiting, event logisitics, and promoting fundraising for the fight against cancer. Training is both formal and informal, varying by position and experience of the volunteer. Time commitments vary by position. All Event Leadership Team members are expected to attend monthly Relay Rallies and Leadership Team meetings. All Event Leadership Team members are expected to raise a minimum of $100 to qualify for Hope Club.

 Set recruiting (teams, participants, survivors) goals for the year
 Create plan and build team to achieve goals
 Plan and implement Relay Rallies
 Support, train and mentor individuals on the Bring the People team
 Participate in Event Leadership team conversations
 Active role in long-term planning for the annual event
 Note: Two individuals fill this role - one adult and one youth
