Do you play guitar and enjoy working with children? Volunteer as a Guitar Instructor with The Salvation Army!

The Salvation Army Hayward Corps is looking for instructors who want to share their gift/love of music with others in a family friendly environment. Must love teaching kids and have a heart to mentor them through music. This is an ongoing positions needed every Wednesday from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and teach children ages 7 to 15 structured guitar lessons
  • Work and relate well with people of diverse ages and backgrounds
  • Maintain proper Child Safety procedures
  • Attend initial training to understand both The Salvation Army's mission and programs and the requirements of the position.

This volunteer opportunity has the potential to become a paid position.
