About

If you can read a map and plan a bus route, Catholic Charities Refuge and Immigration Services needs your help! Public transit is the primary means of transportation for almost every newly arrived refugee and navigating the complex system can pose a challenge, even for well-established Americans. By helping newly-arrived refugees learn the ins-and-outs of the Nashville transit system, you can get our clients where they need to go today, and teach them how to get there tomorrow. This is a flexible position--less than a day’s work can make someone’s life tangibly better. Please contact our volunteer coordinator, Emily Sellers, for more information: esellers@cctenn.org; (615) 259-3567, ext. 1199.
