Heartland is currently seeking volunteers who can provide Music Enrichment to patients in local nursing facilities who are nearing the end of their life.
Don't play an instrument? No problem! Heartland has a variety of music on CD that can be used during our music enrichment programs to help engage patients and to encourage socializing among nursing home residents.
NO HANDS-ON CARE IS REQUIRED!
Our office is located in Irwin, PA and we serve patients throughout all of Westmoreland County, the eastern part of Allegheny County, and sections of Fayette County.

About Heartland Hospice
3520 Route 130, Leverington Office Complex, Irwin, PA 15642, US
Mission Statement Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice is a growth company dedicated to providing compassionate high-quality home health care. We achieve this by recruiting professional and caring staff to encourage our clients to be active participants in their care by providing an atmosphere of supportive leadership. We value strong, mutually beneficial relationships with our referral sources, employees, clients and their families as well as the community at large.
Heartland Hospice is a special kind of care designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support for individuals in the final phase of a terminal illness. Hospice focuses on enhancing the quality of life, rather than length of life. It neither hastens nor postpones death; it affirms life and regards dying as a normal process.
The hospice program stresses human values beyond the physical needs of the patient. Hospice ensures patients spend their final days in dignity and comfort. Heartland Hospice's program utilizes a team approach to meet the physical, social and spiritual needs of our patients and their families.
