Vision House is a Christian social service agency based near Seattle, Washington. Since 1990, Vision House has provided housing, support services and child care for homeless families with children.

This volunteer position will assist with fundraising event registration for the Building Hope Benefit Breakfast to be held on October 18, 2016.

Hours: 2 - 5 per week

Pre-event Duties:
* Under the direction of the Communications Specialist, assist with online data entry and registration tasks for fundraising events.
* Data entry tasks may include: manually entering guest registrations, updating guest information and more.
* Registration tasks may include: assisting with registration reports, assisting with guest e-mails and more.
* Make phone calls to invite guests to fundraising events.
* Other duties as needed.

Event Day Duties:
* Assist with guest check in.
* Assist with guests finding their name badge and table.
* Answer guest questions.
* Other duties as needed.


* Ability to complete the Vision House Volunteer Application (which includes a background check)
* Comfortable with using EventSpot, DonorPerfect, Excel, MS Word, and Outlook or a willingness to be trained on EventSpot and DonorPerfect software.
* Calm and friendly demeanor, particularly when assisting event guests in person.
