Irvine Nature Center is seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to assist the Development Department with various tasks. Duties include help with preparing development mailings, filing, internet research and possible data entry. Enthusiasm and attention to detail are a must.
Qualifications:
* Ability to follow instructions
* Interest in environmental issues, non-profit management or education desirable
* Excellent communication skills
* Your own transportation.
* Interest in fundraising activities
Hours:
* 10-20 hours per week
* Must have availability between 9am-5pm
* Monday-Thursday

Description
Irvine Nature Center is a private, non-profit nature center located in Owings Mills, Maryland. We have 211 acres of woodlands, wetlands, and meadows that support a diverse population of wildlife. We provide more than 800 environmental education programs annually to roughly 95,000 individuals of all ages. Our goal is to expose people to the importance of environmental literacy and show those visiting our property the importance of environmental stewardship. We aim to teach a concern for the planet that translates into actions that help preserve our ecosystem and create a healthier planet!
