ORGANIZATION: Parents Helping Parents

About Parents Helping Parents: Parents Helping Parents is a nonprofit offering two services to parents in need: The Parental Stress Line and Parent Support Groups. Our goal is to empower parents to their nurture children and build stronger families.

Parents Helping Parents is seeking a volunteer to help with:

  • A project to update our database,
  • Follow up with former volunteers and verify their current addresses.
  • We have other ad-hoc fun projects that will be a valuable service to the community.

Any volunteer work you do will be an invaluable contribution to parents in need of support.

Description

Parents Helping Parents (PHP) is the leader in free, high-quality, evidence-based, and trauma-informed emotional support services for parents. We are based in Massachusetts, but receive calls from all across the United States.

PHP provides parental support services through our Parent Stress Line and Support Groups. All services are free, anonymous, confidential, and accessible. We welcome any person seeking support in caring for a child with a specific focus on families involved with the Department of Children and Families (DCF).
