Sending a call out to Tai Chi and/or Qigong Teachers and Practitioners! Father Woody's Haven of Hope is a day shelter serving the Homeless and Indigent in Denver. We are expanding our Wellness Program and seeking volunteers that would like teach this valuable art to a population in need.

Our new Wellness Center is opening in May 2017. Our current program includes Chair Massage and Acupuncture. With the new expansion, we are happy to say we will be offering Meditation, Yoga classes* and hopefully Qigong or Tai Chi!

Shelter hours are Mon - Fri, 7am - 1pm, all classes and services will be offered during these hours. Scheduling is flexible. Please contact Kathleen McCarthy, Wellness Program Coordinator at 720-570-2023 (call or text) or email: k.hridaya@gmail.com

I have personally been offering chair massage at the shelter for 7 years, the rewards are endless... please join us. :-)

Also seeking other volunteers from the Wellness Community: Massage Therapists; Acupuncturists and ADS folks for NADA Protocol.

*Yoga classes will be offered through "Yoga for the People" http://www.yogaforthepeople.org/
Thank you!!!
