Vietnamese Social Services is looking for volunteer classroom assistants and one-on-one tutors.
Classroom assistants provide assistance to ESL students in a classroom setting, under the direction of a certified ESL teacher. As a classroom assistant, there may also opportunities to lead small groups of learners in conversation, reading or writing activities and/or to provide 1-on-1 tutoring of students in class.
We are also interested in providing our students with one-on-one tutors after class for additional support.
