Did you grow up in East Harlem or are you currently residing in the neighborhood now? Are you 50 years old or older? If you answered yes to both questions, consider volunteering with Union Settlement's Intergenerational Tutoring Program!
Older adults who care about children and want to help East Harlem students are invited to join our program, where volunteers help improve the reading and writing skills of students in grades K-3 during the course of the academic year.
If you're interested in being a tutor and mentor to a East Harlem student, please email Cristina Valbuena-Castor at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information!
