We are delighted to welcome hundreds of guests for the Grand Re-Opening of the Auburn Avenue Research Library. Volunteers will:

*Play an integral part of this great day

*See the renovations before the public

*Hold roles including greeting and guiding guests inside the 4 floor building

*Wear comfortable/professional clothing and shoes for standing

*Understand no onsite parking is available. (MARTA or local pay lots)

*RSVP today if you are interested and available

The mission of the Fulton County Library System is to serve as a cultural and intellectual center that enriches the community and empowers all residents with essential tools for lifelong learning.

Description

The Fulton County Library System is the largest library system in the state of Georgia. Volunteers serve at all 34 locations. The System provides a variety of literacy and community information services and programs for citizens in and around the Metropolitan Atlanta area. These services include, but are not limited to: providing audio, visual and print media for check-out by registered patrons; providing programming that reflects the diverse interests of area residents and visitors, and providing meeting areas for community discussion and interaction.
