The YWCA Hamilton is looking for volunteers to help in Girls Incorporated, a national non-profit that inspires girls to be strong, smart and bold. We are currently looking for workshop presenters. Girls Inc. has a variety of workshops that offer solutions to the unique challenges girls face; workshops target girls ages 9-12 and 15-18. Workshop presenters will work to schedule and present workshops that average 3 hours. Workshops may be split into two days or offered in full.

Time commitment: 4-8 hours each month with a commitment of at least 6 months. Hours are flexible Monday-Saturday. Begins September 2016-May 2017.

Location: Various Sites in Butler County

Expectations: Create a positive climate, provide support, relate and communicate with youth, k nowledgeable about contemporary adolescent culture, willing to learn from youth, friendly, appropriate role model, sensitive to group dynamics

All volunteers must pass a background check (provided by the YWCA) and attend training/orientation at the YWCA.
