Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island grants wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island is looking for an Office Volunteer or Intern to work with our Wish/Program Services staff in our West Springfield, MA office.
Our Wish/Program Services Volunteer/Intern will work on various projects related to our Wishgranting program and will gain experience in donor acknowledgement, in-kind gift procurement, wish planning and related administrative tasks.
Location: Free Parking is easily available at the West Springfield office.
Hours (for Interns): Interns hours will be based of the requirements of your college/university. Typically ten to twelve hours a week, split over two or three days.
Hours (for Office Volunteers): Office Volunteer experiences can be flexible, however we are looking for consistency each week in order to keep projects moving. Typically eight to ten hours a week, split over two days.
Intern/Volunteer must be available through May (at least)- opportunity can be extended.
This is a non-paid internship/volunteer opportunity- but class credit can be obtained if approved by a college or university.
