About

Join us as a mentor to help older adults connect with their friends and family via technology!

The goal of Cyber-Seniors is to bridge the technological gap that isolates older generations from younger generations by empowering student mentors of the middle school age and older to assist the older adult population in learning how to use a computer, communicate through email, and use social media.

Volunteering with VCI Cyber-Seniors you will receive:

  • Community service hours
  • Leadership experience
  • Weekly prizes
  • The intangible fulfillment of impacting someone’s life

As a mentor you will teach older adults:

  • How to type
  • How to email
  • How to navigate through the different social media platforms
  • How to better navigate through their device
  • ... and filling any gaps in their knowledge of technology!

We need your help to combat social isolation by reconnecting older adults with their families and friends!
