Volunteers help keep our community Rose Garden looking good throughout the year. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of Mission Santa Barbara, The mountain backdrop and the views of the ocean while you trim the roses and learn a bit about horticulture.

The Santa Barbara Rose Society was established in 1959. It is a non-profit society, devoted to sharing knowledge about roses, rose culture and the pleasure of rose gardening. You will find information here about all aspects of roses, the national flower of the United States.

Rose Society promotes the growing and care of roses. Become a garden volunteer to help keep the Mission Rose Garden looking good throughout the year.
