Help us spread the word about our NEW Comeback Trail 5K Run/Walk series in Ft. Lauderdale!
Last year, we invited our community to join us on a Comeback Trial. Nearly 1,000 individuals joined us by walking a community trail, through their neighborhood park, or taking a walk around their block to celebrate their journey to Come Back Strong.
This year, we’re growing our trails efforts by launching our Comeback Trail 5K run/walk series. Join us as we launch our signature events series and become a part of the Come Back Strong movement!
This volunteer is key to the success of the event. With the support of National Stroke Association staff, this volunteer will support the marketing and outreach efforts for Comeback Trail Ft. Lauderdale. The objective is to successfully recruit individual and team participants for our 5K run/walk on Saturday, Oct. 8 at Huizenga Plaza. National Stroke Association will provide materials, phone scripts, email and web posting templates as well as a list of warm leads and contacts. Individuals are also strongly encouraged to share the opportunity within their own social and professional networks.
Specific roles include: hanging event posters, posting event details on running and Ft. Lauderdale event sites, connecting with potential participant groups via phone and email, speaking at stroke support groups around the Ft. Lauderdale area and/or at corporate partner employee events.
