Family Fun Day

Gather the family for a morning of free entertainment, games and education. SafeHouse of Shelby County will host a family fun day August 20th, 2016 from 9am-12:00 p.m. at Heardmont Park. Activities will include live music , dance performances , balloon crafts, putt-putt, basketball, face painting, carnival games and more. We need volunteers to help us pull this amazing event off. We need 2 volunteers per event and shift. First shift start at 7:30am-10:00. Second shift starts at 10:00am-12:30pm.

Events:

Game 1:Utltimate Carnival Game ( Ring Toss, Tic Tac Toe, Ball Float, Balloon Bust)

1. While standing about a foot away from the game, participant tries to toss a ring, ball, or bean bag onto a post. Tic Tac Toe get 3 matches
2. Get 2 rings on any 2 posts and you WIN.
3. Each participant gets 6 rings to toss.

Game 2: Duck Pond:

1. Each player will get a chance to see the lucky duck number
2. Game host will show everyone what the luck number is and scramble ducks
3. Winner receives prize

Game 3: Bozo Toss Rules

1. Using a bean bag, participant throws a bean bag into clowns mouth
2. Each participants get 2 chances
3. Participants will stand at the appointed line

Game 4: Football Throw Rules

1. Each participant will be giving the chance to throw the ball twice from 2 different distance
2. Distance 1 ( receive a small prize)
3. Distance 2 ( big prize)
