Catholic Charities Refugee and Immigration Services seeks knowledgeable, patient volunteers to partner with a member of our Refugee Elders Program to help them adjust to life in America. Get involved in your community, learn about different cultures, and build a friendly, one-on-one relationship with a senior refugee. As their "American Friend," you’ll show them what you love about your community and culture, while helping them practice English and teaching them the basic life skills they need to navigate their new home.
