Marketing Director

The purpose of IHSF (In Her Shoes Foundation) is to bring women of all ages and backgrounds together; to inspire, connect, educate and support the development and maintenance of a positive and healthy lifestyle. Through four main concepts - inspire, connect, educate, and support - women of In Her Shoes Foundation seek to provide a safe and collaborative environment for all women.

Reporting to: President and CEO

Responsibilities include:

-Attending monthly meetings at our downtown Chicago office

-providing expertise on marketing ideas

-ensures the organization is visible

-creates marketing objectives and provides annual marketing plan

-implements business development and sales tools

-establish system of reporting findings from the sales and marketing team to President

-organizing marketing and strategy meetings

-control the marketing budget

-leads the Sales and Marketing team

-works with business leadership on the business strategy and organizational management

-maintaining relationships with the community


Knowledge of sales, marketing, computer science, and business administration. Ability to learn quickly and excellent communication skill. Experience developing marketing plans and managing marketing budget. Skilled at maintaining the organization’s image through all materials and events. Strong creativity skills. Bachelor’s in marketing or business administration a must.
