Catholic Charities Refugee and Immigration Services is looking for compassionate, caring adult volunteers to provide support and guidance to our underserved refugee youth program. If you’re looking for a way to help with the refugee crisis, this year-long volunteer opportunity is a perfect way to serve locally and to be the positive influence many of our young refugees need. As a refugee youth mentor, you will work with a mentee, aged 9-17, one-on-one to build confidence and social skills, assist with academic needs, and to welcome them fully to the Nashville community. Training is provided. We are a local affiliate of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops' Migration and Refugee Services, and we provide core resettlement services to refugee individuals and families being resettled in Nashville, Tennessee.
