Catholic Charities Refugee and Immigration Services is looking for compassionate, caring adult volunteers to provide support and guidance to our underserved refugee youth program. If you’re looking for a way to help with the refugee crisis, this year-long volunteer opportunity is a perfect way to serve locally and to be the positive influence many of our young refugees need. As a refugee youth mentor, you will work with a mentee, aged 9-17, one-on-one to build confidence and social skills, assist with academic needs, and to welcome them fully to the Nashville community. Training is provided. Please contact our volunteer coordinator, Emily Sellers, for more information: esellers@cctenn.org; (615) 259-3567, ext. 1199.
