Volunteers are needed to assist with Coastal Heritage Society's annual Frogwarts event! Based on the Harry Potter universe, Frogwarts is held at Tricentennial Park (Georgia State Railroad Museum, Savannah Children's Museum, Battlefield Memorial Park) and will transport families into a world of magic and wonder. If you enjoy interacting with children, please consider volunteering your time on October 16th from 10 AM - 4 PM.

Catch the train to Frogwarts School of Magic and join us for a fall festival full of magic and wonder at Georgia State Railroad Museum and Savannah Children's Museum! Don your fall costume, collect candy, and become a member of one of our Frogwarts houses ( Croak, Hoppin, Ribbit, and Slime). Create your wand and take part in our Frogwarts classes:

  • Care of Magical Creatures
  • Herbology
  • Potions
  • Defense Against the Dark (Arts) - A glow-in-the-dark sensory experience
  • Charms , Fortune-Telling , and more!
Frogwarts is a family event. Volunteers duties include assisting with various themed programming/activities, monitoring guests on the steam locomotive, assisting with guest admission, and helping in the parking lot. All volunteers must submit a CHS volunteer application and are subject to background screenings. Unless otherwise stated, event volunteers must be over the age of 15. All volunteers under the age of 18 must have parental permission.
