The Wildlife Gardens at Merrimac Farm is an ongoing project that creates an area in the community where people and the environment can come together as one.

Over the past few years, we’ve planted hundreds of trees, shrubs, and perennials, and the Wildlife Garden is looking terrific. Now we need your help with a variety of tasks such as weeding, pruning, and watering to ensure that the garden continues to provide all of its services to the environment and the community.

Come on down, and make sure to wear long pants, sturdy shoes, long socks, and a hat to keep off that sun! We are so excited to see what the future of this garden holds, and hope you can join us to help improve wildlife habitat and community appearance.

Workday Schedule:

  • Tuesday, August 9: 10am-12pm
  • Saturday, August 27: 10am-12pm
