Hello Prospective Volunteers!
Thanks for taking the time to view this opportunity for a Car Wash Fundraiser with proceeds benefiting The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia’s Muscular Dystrophy Research Fund. I am excited to get the ball rolling in our community and hope this event will ignited the spark in all of us to help those in need.
This will be a one day community event fundraiser with bake sale and hot dog stand. The event will take place on Saturday August 13, 2016 at Springfield High School parking lots located at 1801 E. Paper Mill Rd. in Erdenheim, PA.
I need help from volunteers to help recruit cars of friends, family and community one week before the Car Wash, make signs before and bring to recruit oncoming cars, help setup on day of, direct traffic, collect funds, hose down cars, soap and sudd the cars, hose off cars, dry cars, cook hot dogs, manage the bake sale table, and also help clean up.
I will be sending out a flyer to all those who volunteer for this opportunity so that you can recruit and market cars before the day of the car wash and also if you cannot volunteer the day of the fundraiser.
I hope you are as excited as I am to help raise money to benefit The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and I know the children will be just as excite and oh so grateful for your help.
