We are looking for two (2) anointed individuals to lead worship service for a brand new non-denominational Christian ministry which will open in Rahway, New Jersey in September, 2016.
The group is very small- so ability and confidence to lead worship within a very small group (with varying levels of confidence and/or knowledge of Christian music) is a must. Ideally, you would sing two-three songs before the Pastor begins teaching. You are welcomed to stay for teaching.
You would be needed on Saturdays starting in October from 5pm to 8pm (but again, if you do not stay for teaching, you can leave earlier).
Our strong preference is for someone who does not have a church home already - that we can train to become our Worship Director. We anticipate the role of Worship Director will become a stipended role within the 2017 calendar year.
We enjoy artists such as Chris Tomlin, Martha Munizzi, Israel & New Breed, Fred Hammond and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. Since this is a small group, you would sing acapella or we would provide instrumental music that you can sing from.

Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
