Are you proficient in computer programs as well as social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and Email? Do you enjoy taking photos/videos and meeting new people? Do you like giving back to the community and helping others less fortunate? If so, you may want to consider becoming a Communication Specialist (CS) for Compassion Community Clinic. This position will work partly from home. CC Clinic is a faith-based, nonprofit dental clinic which offers free dental care to low income adults with no dental insurance. We are open 2-3 days per month and are staffed mainly with volunteers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Communication Specialist, you would be responsible for taking photos and videos at the various events that we host throughout the year and sharing them on social media. The CS will create 30 second to 2 minute videos of grateful patients, enthusiastic volunteers, or "action" during a patient session as well as take photos. These videos and pictures will be used for marketing via social media, fundraising, grants and events. This position requires a commitment of and year and approximately 8-10 hours per month. CC Clinic is a 501(c)3 which opened it's doors in December 2013 to meet a critical need in our community. CC Clinic is the first and only ongoing, free dental clinic. Thousands of Nevadans have no access to receive the dental care they so desperatly need. CC Clinic offers increased access to quality dental care in a compassionate atmosphere. Basic, emergent dental treatments of fillings, extractions, and cleanings will be available. In addition, trained Prayer Partners will assist patients in registering and offer them prayer and information about Jesus Christ, while affirming their dignity as made in God's image. No fees will be charged, but donations will be gratefully accepted.
