Science@OC is currently recruiting professionals who work in STEM related fields to join us this summer at our STEMQuest: PBL Summer Institute. Share your expertise with teachers as they design relevant, engaging units that will inspire students to explore a "driving question."
You don’t have to prepare anything, just show up and we will introduce you to the feedback protocols before getting started. Topics of conversation include: What skills are students learning that would be beneficial in college or in our workplace? How does the project foster critical thinking and creativity? What opportunities are there for students to collaborate and communicate their findings? What opportunities are there for students to be innovative? What types of resources might enhance this project?

Science@OC works with educators to inpire middle school students to excel in science and explore opportunities for careers in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM).
Our team works with district staff to create a vision and plan for a sustainable science education program that will result in increased student achievement.
