New Earth Explorer volunteers are a key part of New Earth organization and their work makes a huge impact in the lives of our youth. These volunteers are directly helping us fulfill New Earth’s mission to create new worlds and opportunities for at-risk youth. Because of this program, they get to experience nature and wildlife, sometimes for the first time.
Our volunteer camera operators are essential to the success of explore.org’s wildlife live cams. By donating their time and talent, they embody the philanthropic ethic of giving and set the standard for what it means to be truly engaged.
Like the www.explore.org live cams, volunteer camera operators are located all over the world. They are the first to see and report live action, frame the stories of nature and draw audiences in with a zen-like aesthetic and an unparalleled passion for wildlife. They are also totally committed to Explore’s mission to "never stop learning."
In addition to sharing their time, the Explorer Program volunteers share valuable skills, knowledge, and positive feedback to provide a standard of excellence that enhances New Earth’s post-release work curricula.
