Every student needs someone who believes in them. No matter who you are or where you come from, you have something to share with San Francisco students. There are opportunities in San Francisco public schools in every grade, K-12, in almost every subject: English, Math, Science, Art, P.E., Music, and more.

Volunteers at the San Francisco public schools are trained and supported by the San Francisco Education Fund, the nonprofit in charge of matching volunteers with students who need them most. We know you’re looking for a volunteer opportunity not because you need something to do, but because something needs to be done. That’s why we work with your schedule and time requirements to find the perfect volunteer match.

Our goal is to help every student in San Francisco succeed. Your decision to volunteer will make that goal a reality. Read to a student, help with math, mentor them so they can envision a bright future for themselves, and you’ll be part of something huge.

Join us as a San Francisco public school volunteer!
