Girls on the Run San Diego is currently looking for more volunteers to join our organization! Girls on the Run is a non-profit organization that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.
Our Fall Volunteer Launch meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 18th from 6-7:30pm at RoadRunner Sports. The Volunteer Launch will introduce you to all five areas where our GOTR San Diego volunteers can help this Fall 2018 season: Programs, 5k Planning and Day-of Volunteering, Marketing/PR, Fundraising, and Special Events.
Both new and returning volunteers will have the opportunity to gather information, ask questions, and interact with the GOTRSD volunteer network. As an organization, we encourage volunteers to find the best fit for their interests, skills and schedule - this meeting will explain the various roles of each group and allow volunteers to make an informed choice!
Plan to join us for this event, where you can learn about each of our committees and select the one that is right for you. Email volunteer@gotrsd.org to RSVP or for more information!
