The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, is looking for motivated volunteers to help with our Annual TAKE STEPS WALK. This years walk will be at Toledo Zoo located in Toledo on September 24th.

Volunteers are needed for multiple areas on the event day;September 24th.

Walk Event Day Saturday, 9/24 Multiple times and jobs available from 6:30 AM - 12:00 PM. Early bird help with setting up, marking the walk route in the zoo,help register walkers, pass out shirts, help in Kid's Corral, route marshalls, and more. We also need clowns, face painters, photographers (you need not be a professional clown or photographer.), and more!

Comfortable clothing suggested - tennis shoes.

All volunteers will be provided refreshments and a Take Steps T-Shirt.

Description

The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is the leading nonprofit organization aimed at improving the life of and finding a cure for the 1.6 million American adults and children living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, chronic and often debilitating digestive diseases. The Foundation maintains a presence across the United States, with chapters in every state offering support groups, educational programs, and fundraising events. On a national level, the Foundation hosts a variety of educational programs throughout the year for patients and professionals, including educational teleconferences/webcasts and its annual Advances in IBD professional conference. Its Information Resource Center, staffed by master's level healthcare professionals, provides information and support to the Crohn's and colitis community.
