Intrepid Hospice seeks kindhearted, friendly volunteers to assist Veterans and their families living with terminal illness.

Who better to have serve our Vets than other Veterans or active military personnel. This is why we need your help to reach out to your fellow Veterans in need. Veteran volunteers would make a significant impact because they can, reminisce through telling and listening to life stories, or take part in recognition events such as pinning ceremonies.

"Being able to volunteer with other Veterans has been a rewarding experience. No matter how wide or narrow the age difference between myself and the Veteran with whom I am volunteering, we are able to make a connection based on our military experiences. Spending time with fellow warriors at the end of their lives has been a uniquely fulfilling experience. This bond of service allows a time of service reflection that the Veteran may not be comfortable sharing with a non-veteran volunteer."

Orientation and training are provided. A two-step TB test and background check are required, and is taken care of free of charge.
