Sunday Streets is an open street program in San Francisco that creates miles of car-free space for people to enjoy free, fun activities provided by neighborhood groups, nonprofit orgs, and local merchants. Our events are for all ages.

Prior to each event, considerable outreach is involved. That’s where the Street Team comes in!

What: Street Team gets to explore San Francisco neighborhoods by foot, and invite neighboring residents to participate at Sunday Streets and ensure everyone is notified of parking and traffic changes. Times can be flexible. Street Team shifts are 3-hours.

When: Thursday, August 11

Time: 10am - 1pm

Where: We’ll meet somewhere near Valencia St. More information will be given in an email from a Sunday Streets Staff member.

How to Sign Up: Respond to VolunteerMatch, or go to www.sundaystreetssf.com/volunteer-streetteam, choose a neighborhood, and click sign up. Sunday Streets Staff will get in contact with you.

Additional Help: If you'd like to do additional outreach in a particular neighborhood - deliver posters and fliers to neighbors and businesses - or would like to help out but are unable to attend the scheduled volunteer shift, please email volunteer@livablecity.org. We'd love to have your help!
