Beginner or experienced green thumbs - we need your help in maintaining our 6.5-acre public garden. We meet Wednesday mornings from 9:00-12:30 (you can come and go as you please during that time). Currently, Wednesday mornings are the only volunteer opportunity available. Please come join us in the garden!
Corporate volunteer opportunities may be arranged for other dates. Please contact joan@gardenshf.org.
Training offered for people who have no garden experience.
This is a physical position however we encourage lots of breaks. Our center is ADA compliant. Minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Gardening is a fun and rewarding experience. Join us!

The Gardens offer educational programs in gardening, ecology, and other environmentally sensitive subjects for children and adults, membership benefits, and volunteer opportunities.

- There is no time commitment required for this volunteer position. Come help when you can. We would love to have you.
- Bring garden gloves and hand pruners. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes that can get dirty. We recommend a hat and sunscreen. Bring a reusable water bottle. We provide tea/coffee/water and snacks!
