Lakeview Pantry’s mission is to eliminate hunger and poverty in our community by providing food to fill the basic need of hungry people.
Volunteer your time to assist with Food Distribution/
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with sorting, preparation and restocking for food distribution
Qualifications/skills:
- Organized and flexible person, work with a small group, able to move small boxes, food items.

Description
RSVP members may choose from a list of agencies in Chicago that have a signed agreement with the RSVP office. Volunteer assignments are made according to volunteers’ skills and interests and the needs of the stations.
Each volunteer position has different time requirements. RSVP strives to help you find opportunities that match your interest and scheduling needs. You will then work with your station supervisor to finalize your schedule. This will include time for orientation and training.
