Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association is looking to expand our Taste of MainStreet Event Crew. We are looking for fun and dynamic volunteers to help us out in serving samples at our "Taste Stops" on Tuesday, August 16 th, for a super fun evening! Two shifts are available (5:15-7pm and 7-8:45pm), so you will still have plenty of time to enjoy the event. In helping us out, you will receive one free ticket to the Taste! ($35 value)
Through the evening, you will enjoy live music, great food and local wine and beer, while serving your community. This event also makes for great people watching! Call us at 760-943-1950 or email us at info@encinitas101.com to get involved!

Our Mission DEMA is dedicated to the Historic Preservation and revitalization of Historic Downtown Encinitas. "Downtown Encinitas a place to Live, Work, and Play."
Description
Program Purpose
Main Street is a revitalization strategy used in over 1,200 cities and 40 states. Developed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation's National Main Street Center, the program encourages imaginative use of business and government resources to support local downtown and neighborhood commercial district revitalization efforts. The MainStreet approach is based on four points and relies on eight guiding principles to produce fundamental change in traditional commercial business districts.

DEMA is a non-profit corporation serving a defined program area in Historic Downtown Encinitas.
DEMA is part of a national association of MainStreet Cities.
DEMA implements the 4-point program to effect positive change in the program area.
DEMA is governed by a Board of Directors and has a staff of 2 full time executives.
