Heartland Family Service is in need of some mentors for our youth clients in our Youth Links program. Youth Links is a residential triage center for youth ages 10-18 who have been found to be delinquent or who are status offenders. Assessments and short-term services are provided on-site to help youth re-enter or remain in the community safely. Services include on-site therapy, credit recovery and GED preparation, vocational and independent living skills, educational groups, recreational activities, and community service.
Volunteers can help in a variety of ways! Tutoring, arts and crafts, life skill classes and sport activities are a few ideas.
