Grant Writer (GW) develops and writes grant proposals to foundations and other grant-making organizations and persuasively communicates PSM For Single Parent's mission and programs to potential funders. The grant writer serves as a lead grant writer on funding proposals for a wide variety of programs throughout Illinois, including youth development, mental health services, violence prevention programs, services for single parents, and supportive services for families, among others.

Description
The purpose of PSM is to enhance the lives of single mothers through thoughtful partnering and mentoring relationships. PSM will empower, restore, and equip single-parent families by providing professional services and mentoring opportunities via conferences, workshops, seminars, and training. PSM will leverage its community network to enable and provide resources to families allowing them to gain and maintain a holistic life while raising their children, our future.
