PWH is in need of a Bookkeeper who would be responsible for payment of bills using Quickbooks, bi-weekly payroll for 2 employees, recording all expenses for medical missions, making and recording deposits, reconciling bank statements, monitoring annual fund donations, and other tasks as needed. Private office. Although we are looking for someone who would like to volunteer their time for appoximately 20 hours a week through the end of December 2016, we know this is a lot to ask and are open to discussion. (The goal is to make this a paid position in 2017).

To improve health care and reduce environmental impact by collecting surplus medical equipment and supplies and distributing them to communities in need globally and locally.
Description
Partners for World Health is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that collects usable medical supplies from healthcare facilities in Maine, NH, VT & MA which are being discarded due to government regulations and ships them to countries in need. In addition, we organize medical missions to Southeast Asia and Africa for doctors, nurses, non medical professionals and students. We strive to send a team of medical personnel to every country where we ship a container of medical supplies. We are committed to educating our community members about the importance of recycling and the disparities in healthcare around the world. We work with other organizations to share resources to better our communities at home as well as overseas.
